1) Data protection
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
Your personal data (e.g. name, address, e-mail, telephone number, etc.) will only be processed by us in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law. Data are personal if they can be clearly assigned to a specific natural person.

However, we would like to point out that Internet-based data transmission (e.g. when visiting websites or communicating by e-mail) is subject to security vulnerabilities and that complete protection against access by third parties is therefore impossible.
We try to act consciously sustainable and ecological in all matters. That is why we trust also with our website on a Webhosting - Service that shares our philosophy. This also refers to the handling of sensitive or personal data. In order to protect your personal data, there is a contract between us and our web hoster for order processing in accordance with Art. 28 DSVGO. The web hosting service we use, 'Biohost', is a German provider whose servers are located in 'Germany' and are operated exclusively with green electricity.
2) Comments
When visitors post comments on the site, we collect the data displayed in the comment form, as well as the visitor's IP address and user agent string (this identifies the browser) to help detect spam.
An anonymized string (also called a hash) may be created from your email address and passed to the Gravatar service to verify that you are using it. The privacy policy of the Gravatar service can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.
3) General information about cookies
This website uses so-called cookies to recognize multiple use of our offer, by the same user / Internet connection owner. 4) Contact possibilities
We offer you the possibility on our site to contact us by e-mail. In this case, the information provided by the user will be stored for the purpose of processing his contact. The legal basis for the processing of the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The data will not be passed on to third parties. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site also does not take place.
Further aspects when contacting us via email: If you send us an email to our email addresses marked with #(at)meydenbauer.net, we receive this email through our hoster and email provider BIOHOST. The emails are saved by us for administrative reasons on the email server (within Germany) and also on our internal systems for processing.
Emails are 'not' managed by an external provider or third party. All emails are managed by ourselves. We delete the emails on the server at irregular intervals. Relevant emails, however, are kept here for security reasons for the period of processing. We always try to delete emails with irrelevant content or emails with sensitive, such as personal data, from the server promptly or to archive them on internal systems.
If you have sent us an email with personal data, you can request immediate deletion of your data from the email server. In this case you should send us an email as described in point 5) / III.I. 1).
5) Right to information, deletion, blocking
The applicable data protection law grants you comprehensive data subject rights (rights of access and intervention) vis-à-vis the controller with regard to the processing of your personal data, which we inform you about below:
I) Right of access pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR:
In particular, you have the right to obtain information about your personal data processed by us, the processing purposes, the categories of personal data processed, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the intended storage period or the criteria for determining the storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, complaint to a supervisory authority, the origin of your data if it has not been collected from you by us, the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and, if applicable, meaningful information about the logic involved and the scope and intended effects of such processing concerning you, as well as your right to be informed about which guarantees exist in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR when your data is transferred to third countries.

IV) Right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR:
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data as long as the accuracy of your data, which you dispute, is verified, if you refuse the deletion of your data due to unauthorized data processing and instead request the restriction of the processing of your data, if you need your data for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims after we no longer need this data after the purpose has been achieved or if you have objected on the grounds of your particular situation, as long as it has not yet been determined whether our legitimate reasons prevail
V) Right to information pursuant to Art. 19 GDPR:
If you have asserted the right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing against the controller, the controller is obliged to notify all recipients to whom the personal data concerning you has been disclosed of this rectification or erasure of the data or restriction of processing, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. You have the right to be informed about these recipients.
VI) Right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR:

VII) Right to revoke consent granted pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR:
You have the right to revoke your consent to the processing of data at any time with effect for the future. In the event of revocation, we will immediately delete the data concerned unless further processing can be based on a legal basis for processing without consent. The revocation of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent up to the revocation
VIII) Right to lodge a complaint pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR:
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, workplace or the place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR.

5.1) Right of objection
If we process your personal data within the framework of a balancing of interests on the basis of our predominantly legitimate interest, you have the right at any time to object to this processing with effect for the future for reasons arising from your particular situation.
If you exercise your right to object, we will stop processing the data concerned. However, we reserve the right to continue processing if we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, fundamental rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
If your personal data is processed by us for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing. You can exercise the objection as described above.
If you exercise your right to object, we will immediately stop processing the data concerned for direct marketing purposes.
6) Server-Log-Files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us.

- Host name of the accessing computer
- Date and time of the server request
This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources.
We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.
7) SSL encryption
This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as requests that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
8) Duration of data storage
The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective statutory retention period (e.g. retention periods under commercial and tax law). After expiry of the period, the corresponding data is routinely deleted, unless we have a legitimate interest in continuing to store it.
9) We share or forward data
If this site offers services that allow the creation of user accounts, your IP address will be included in the reset email when you request a password reset. This email may be processed by your email provider without encryption.
Visitor comments could be examined by an automated service for spam detection. This is for the protection of this website and to ensure the service of the website. A check is performed on this site by the plugin AntiSpam Bee. This was developed in the EU and meets the requirements of GDPR, as it does not store any personal data.
